Raye served as a judge advocate general in the U.S. Raye ran for retention in 2014, winning a new term that expires on January 3, 2027. Raye was appointed presiding justice on November 23, 2010, by Governor Arnold Schwarzenegger. He was appointed to the court by former Governor George Deukmejian and took his oath of office on January 7, 1991. Raye was the presiding justice of the Third District of the California Courts of Appeal. ![]()
